ESG – Environmental, Social and Governance

ESG – Environmental, Social and Governance

Half a year of hard work on the ESG project is ahead of us. We are looking forward to a series of trainings, meetings and involvement in this concept.

But let’s start from the beginning, what is ESG?

ESG it is a concept that evaluates the activities of companies in terms of three key aspects:

  • Environmental: Related to the company’s impact on the environment, including resource management, CO2 emissions, and sustainable development policy.
  • Social : It concerns the company’s activities in the field of social responsibility, such as working conditions, human rights, diversity and involvement in local communities.
  • Governance : It covers the way the company is managed, transparency of activities, business ethics and the process of making responsible decisions at the management level.

In other words, it is a set of criteria that investors and companies are using to assess how well a company handles environmental, social responsibility and management issues.

Companies applying ESG principles strive for long-term, sustainable development that takes into account the benefits for the environment, society and their organizational structures.
